March Meeting

March 1st, 2012 at 6:30pm
we will also send out an email reminder that week.

I know that this is early, I was just on a roll.

I will bring a warp for a community piece. bring something green for weft to weave into the warp. (I know, I'm going with a theme here)
don't let me limit you in any way but a few ideas are:

yarn
roving
felt
tinsel
beads
buttons
fabric
thrums
easter grass
wool

really, any renewable resource is green, isn't it?

Depending on the end result, I would like to consider donating the finished piece to an art auction or to the Parkview Care Center.
I love to 'get the word out' about all the amazing fiber artists in the area.
If someone else has a different opinion or suggestion for the finished piece, I am all ears!

February Meeting

February 3, 2012 6:30pm
at a hastily revised location. Due to illness at the Care Center, we met at the Culvers on Hwy 55 in Buffalo.
Next time I will surely remember to post a notice on the doors and table of our regular space.
This meeting was about hearts, and I do have a photo for this one!
heart book marks. so easy to create in a pick-up pattern on the inkle loom.
That was our February meeting!

January Meeting

January 5th 2012
A new year, new resolutions, and once again, looking for the photos. sigh.

December Potluck

In accord with our longstanding tradition, December is the month of the party/potluck. we gathered at Nancy's house again this year and had a marvelous time.

And yes, a photo will be coming...

November meeting

November 3rd, 2011 6:30pm.
I believe that we did weaving... hmmm. more searching for photographic proof. This is beginning to feel like an archeological expedition on my camera...

October Meeting

October 6 2011, 6:30pm

now to find some photos to back that up...

the summer break

apparently summers take it all out of me. Due to my wildly changing schedule in the summer, I usually end up missing some if not all of the meetings.
However, others were there, and I will add info about the two (august and september) that I seemed to have missed.
I know, September is not technically summer. However the meeting was before labor day, ergo summer.
Next summer I shall plan ahead and make someone else bring a camera and get photographic proof that we do indeed have meetings in the summer.
Now off to find the photographic proof of the fall/winter meetings...
